The 120/180 grading means that it is a mid-grain file. The fine-grained side (180) will work well when modeling the shape of the nail or roughening its plate, while medium-grained side (120) is suitable for artificial nails, as well as for gel and acrylic nails.

How to use: It is recommended to file the nail in one direction, with long strokes at an angle of 45 degrees. Perpendicular, multi-directional filing could increase the risk of delamination and brittleness of the nail plate.

Result: Effectively smoothed, even and stylized nails.
